Meet Whitney
Ever since I was little I’ve been in awe of the beauty of creation around me. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful spaces and places, I feel God’s presence the loudest when I’m surrounded by his masterpieces in creation. Its one of the reasons I love this city so much, everywhere you look its beautiful.
I started my first wedding flower business in 2009 here in Charleston. It grew to be one of the premiere wedding florists in the City.
I fell in love with flowers when planning my own wedding and I’ve been in the wedding business ever since. Seven years later the Lord called our family to move to Asheville to help support a church plant. In Asheville, I partnered with a friend of mine who owns Springvine Design to grow and run the Asheville division of her floral company.
After 3 amazing years in Asheville, we felt the Lord calling us back to Charleston and we couldn’t be more thrilled. I’m excited and expectant of the story God’s going to write through Festoon!

verb: to adorn a place with garland or ribbons.
In my search of a name for this floral studio, I wanted to find one word that explained exactly who we are and what we love to do. One day I stumbled upon the word “Festoon” in the book of Psalms. I loved the context of it in this verse and when I looked up the definition I knew this was it!
I love that it is both a noun and verb: it’s not just the flower or the flower garland, it’s the art of designing and placing it.
“God is God, he has bathed us in light! Festoon the shrine with garlands, hang colored banners above the altar!”
